2026 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING:

PRE-REGISTRATION:

STEP 1: Complete the Pre-Registration Form SUDBURY AND DISTRICT GIRLS HOCKEY ASSOCIATION AGM 2026 RSVP Wednesday May 20th, @ 6:30 PM - Fill out form

which is a requirement to participate in the AGM.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: May 8, 2026

AGENDA: 

The following agenda meets the constitution requirements in that it must include financial statements from the Treasurer and an election of new Association Executive for the coming season:

1. Consideration of Constitution Amendment Motions  

1. Election of Association Executives 

1. Motion to Adjourn 

ASSOCIATION EXECUTIVE ELECTIONS  

As per the Constitution, the following positions are elected to two-year terms beginning in 2026.   

• Vice President 

• Ice Convenor 

• Secretary 

• Director of Coach/Player Development  

• Director of Public Relations 

• Director of Youth House League (U9, U11, U13) 

• Director of Fundamentals 

As per the Constitution, the following positions are elected to one-year terms beginning in 2026.  

• Treasurer 

• Director of House League 

• Director of Senior House League (U15, U18, U22) 

Duties of the Association Executive Members are listed in the Policies and Procedures link found on the SDGHA website on the Governance tab.   

NOMINATIONS for Association Executive Positions: 

All Nominations must be submitted to the SDGHA via email using this Nominations Form. Nominations will NOT be accepted after the deadline or at the meeting.  

DEADLINE FOR NOMINATIONS: Friday, May 8th, 2026 

AMENDMENTS to the CONSTITUTION: 

Amendments to the Constitution can only be submitted using the Notice of Motion to Constitution Amendments Form. The deadline is based upon constitutional requirements.  

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF PROPOSED CONSTITUTION AMENDMENTS: April 29th, 2026
