AGM Details 2024

2024 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING:

Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 6:30pm

Caruso Club (Lower Hall), 385 Haig Street, Sudbury, ON

PRE-REGISTRATION:

STEP 1: Complete the Pre-Registration Form which is a requirement to participate in the AGM.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at noon (12:00 PM)

AGENDA:

The following agenda meets the constitution requirements in that it must include financial statements from the Treasurer and an election of new Association Executive for the coming season:

1. Call to Order
2. Approval of Minutes from 2023 AGM
3. President’s Report
4. Financial Statements
5. Consideration of Constitution Amendment Motions
6. Election of Association Executives
7. Motion to Adjourn

ASSOCIATION EXECUTIVE ELECTIONS

As per the Constitution, the following positions are elected to two-year terms beginning 2024.

• Vice President
• Secretary
• Ice Convenor
• Director of Coach/Player Development
• Public Relations Coordinator
• Director at Large 2
• House League Director of Fundamentals
• House League Youth Convenor (U9, U11, U13)

 Duties of the Association Executive Members are listed in the Policies and Procedures link found on the SDGHA website on the Governance tab. 

NOMINATIONS for Association Executive Positions:

All Nominations must be submitted to the SDGHA via email using the Nomination Form.  Nominations will NOT be accepted after the deadline or at the meeting.

2024 DEADLINE FOR NOMINATIONS: Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at noon (12:00 PM)

AMENDMENTS to the CONSTITUTION:

Amendments to the Constitution can only be submitted using the Notice of Motion to Constitution Amendments Form. The deadline is based upon constitutional requirements.

2024 DEADLINE FOR AMENDMENT: Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at noon (12:00 PM)
